Leadership coaching that’s effective, supportive, empathic and forward-focused

His leadership coaching approach is based in positivity, even-temperedness, encouragement, empathy, humility,  and non-judgmental support. Our coaching sessions will prioritize what’s most important to you as a leader.  He'll partner with you to achieve your desired goals by creating and enacting plans to accomplish them. This will occur through gentle inquiry (the art of asking questions to evoke awareness).

Action-oriented sessions with valuable resources

In every coaching session, we’ll collaborate to identify actionable steps that align with your leadership goals. Following our meetings, I’ll often provide resources such as books, articles, etc. to deepen your learning and support your development as a leader.

Getting started with leadership coaching

To ensure we’re the right fit, we’ll begin with a short consultation phone call or zoom meeting. Afterward, I’ll propose that we start with a single coaching session to explore your leadership objectives. Before our meeting, you’ll complete a brief client questionnaire designed to help you reflect on what you aim to achieve through coaching.

Once we’ve established your goals, we’ll discuss whether a structured coaching program would benefit you. While many leaders find value in a tailored program, others opt for ongoing, flexible coaching sessions to fit their evolving needs.

Sessions are held either through Zoom or phone calls.

Flexible coaching frequency

Leadership coaching is typically conducted weekly or every other week during a program, depending on your preferences and goals. Many of my clients choose to continue their leadership journey with monthly or quarterly sessions after completing their initial program, ensuring consistent growth and support.

If you’re ready to enhance your leadership skills, gain clarity, and unlock your full potential, this coaching process is designed to help you thrive.

Josh R.

I am writing to share my positive experience with Pat's leadership coaching. It can be challenging to find a coach who truly understands your specific needs and industry. However, Pat's diverse background and experience have allowed him to effectively tailor his coaching to my business. He demonstrates a remarkable ability to transition between high-level corporate coaching and the practicalities of blue-collar trades work. I have thoroughly enjoyed our sessions and am enthusiastic about the future growth and development that will result from his guidance. Pat is one of the kindest individuals I have met, which fosters an environment conducive to receiving sound advice. He is incredibly dependable and is not afraid to offer difficult feedback when it is most needed. While becoming a better leader is a challenging journey, Pat has been consistently uplifting, positive, and encouraging throughout the process. I am genuinely excited about our continued progress.

Remarks from Pat's Battalion Command Officer Efficiency Rating (OER):

LTC Pat Gaston is one of the top three Battalion Commanders I senior rate.

Through Pat's outstanding leadership, the 553rd CSB is a winning organization. The Battalion accomplishes all missions to a high standard and its discipline is impeccable. The Commander is the reason, Caring, competent, visionary, and possessed with an infectious can-do spirit. He has the vision and dedication to be an Army senior leader. Promote to Colonel below the zone. Send Pat to Senior Service College immediately after command, He has General Officer potential.

Remarks from Pat's 2nd Company Command Officer Efficiency Rating (OER):

Outstanding job by an extremely talented officer. Pat took hold of a successful unit and moved it into the outstanding category, He works extremely well with people and gets them to maximize their potential. He personally oversaw the short notice deployment of a 35 person Fuel System Supply Point to deployment to Somalia. The unit's continuous logistic support to 3D Infantry Division during major training exercises is nothing short of flawless. I fully expect Pat to be major, selected for CGSC, and eventually command a battalion. I'm fortunate to have him.

Leadership Coaching

About Pat

He spent both my military and corporate career striving for excellence. Throughout this time he used the leadership foundation built at the US Military Academy at West Point and refined throughout time working with executives at The Boeing Company and spiritual walk to become his best self. The final building block that brought everything together was Servant Leadership.  Servant leaders prioritize serving others' needs to foster their growth and potential rather than seeking personal power or gain. He believes that people are the most critical part of any organization – “People First, Mission Always.” We’ll work together to ensure you work towards being a valued member of every team, and someone who strives to be their best for all of the right reasons.

He pursued coaching to pursue my life’s purpose of “helping others” and bringing personal and professional experience and expertise into every engagement with clients. This journey allowed him to combine a love for meaningful conversations with the drive to support others in leading with purpose and intention.

His current clients have been attracted by the same things future clients will be seeking - to create lives and careers rooted in purpose, meaning, and authenticity. Together, we’ll work to cultivate your unique strengths and inspire transformation in your life and those around you.
