About Pat Gaston
Born in Abilene, Texas, and raised near Lubbock as the youngest of nine, he attended West Point and graduated in 1985. Commissioned in the Field Artillery before transferring to the Quartermaster Corps, he led units from 30 to 1,100 soldiers, deploying to Saudi Arabia and Iraq during Desert Storm and later to Iraq as a battalion commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning two Bronze Stars. He also served at the Pentagon, including on 9/11, and retired as a lieutenant colonel in 2007 after 22 years.
He then spent 17 years at Boeing in roles ranging from Supply Chain Specialist and Project Manager to Chief of Staff for senior leaders.
Now as a leadership coach, he draws joy from helping others grow, guided by the values of faith, hope, and love. A realistic optimist, he finds laughter, movies, music, and simple joys—like watching kids or pets—life-giving. His hobbies include reading, singing, and sports from bowling to golf.

He earned his Masters Degree in Logistics Management while attending the Logistics Executive Development Course.
1998
Command and General Staff College

He studied tactics, strategy and leadership with officers from all services. This graduate level course was established to educate mid-career field grade officers

The Army War College
Carlisle, PA
He was selected to receive this graduate level instruction in Strategic Studies for senior military officers (Army colonels and lieutenant colonels), government officials and civilians to prepare them for senior leadership assignments and responsibilities.

Leadership Experience
Pat is a retired Army officer with extensive military and civilian leadership experience . After graduating from West Point and being commissioned as a second lieutenant he served in roles ranging from fire direction officer, platoon leader, executive officer and ultimately as battalion commander. After retirement he gained experience in various roles at The Boeing Company ultimately supporting Vice Presidents in the Global Services and Commercial Services divisions of the company.
